Provide HR Generalist support to the region; traveling as necessary to sites within the region. This support includes: heavy recruiting, employee/labor relations, coaching/counseling management and employees, talent management and performance management and other administrative duties. Responsibilities Include Managing employee relations Administering company policies Hiring hourly store personnel Develop recruiting strategies for hourly and salaried positions. Interview, select, and hire candidates. Promote, Retain, Recruit and attract top performers at all levels of the organization Facilitating employee orientation and training programs Serving as exemplary company representative in community associations and functions Other human resource functions as needed Consult with local, divisional, and leadership on a variety of HR and business-related issues on both strategic and operational levels. Ensure all HR initiatives and goals are met in accordance with corporate and region objectives. Drive culture initiatives that focus on engaging employees and increasing employee engagement. Counsel, advise and train on performance-based issues including corrective action plans, grievances, terminations. Investigate employee relation issues such as employee complaints, harassment allegations and recommend appropriate action in a timely manner. Oversee the areas of employment, affirmative action, employee benefits, compensation, performance appraisal programs, personnel record keeping, unemployment claims and employee relations, labor relations, training, Identify and determine training needs. Provide employee relations counseling and problem solving for managers and employees, to ensure a productive work environment, remaining consistent with company values and policies and in adherence to state and federal regulatory law. Job Requirements Bachelors Degree in Human Resources/related field or equivalent corresponding job-related experience required. Candidate must have multi-unit experience Minimum of 5 years full cycle staffing experience at the hourly and salary level Minimum 5 years of Human Resources Management experience required. Previous experience in a retail, restaurant or hospitality environment is mandatory. Demonstrated knowledge/experience of federal and state employment laws and other government compliance regulations. Ability to be responsive and persuasive at all levels of the organization. Effective interpersonal and analytical skills. Experience with HR systems.
